On December 26, 2007 the local paper featured a front-page story about 10 year old Grant Swedberg who awoke Christmas morning to a playful new puppy licking his nose. The second feature story on page 1 was about how the Owatonna community came together to deliver Christmas dinners to the homebound elderly.
